Mental Health Service
We can assist you with the following:
- Mental Health Support (i.e. Case Manager, Psychiatrist, Psychologist, GP) who will work with us to assist you to gain employment
- Awareness of your mental health issues and its management in the workplace
- Motivation to find and keep employment
- Participate in the development and implementation of your vocational and employment goals
- Provide individually tailored support to keep your employment
As a jobseeker with our service we will ensure you:
- Are involved in all decisions about your program, including the sort of training, assistance and ongoing support you get and the employment you want to find
- Have access to Individual support that suits your needs and abilities
- Are treated with respect and dignity and to be protected from verbal, physical, sexual or emotional abuse
- Have an advocate of your choice at all meetings
- Have information about you kept confidential and in a safe place and only used by this service to help you find employment
- See any information about yourself that is kept by this service
- Can make a complaint about the service you receive, and have your complaint listened to and dealt with until you are satisfied
- Can leave the service when you choose
TPG makes sure that you have working conditions the same as all other workers in the general workforce.
This means that you should work the same hours and get paid the same as other people doing your job.
If you are treated unfairly because you have a disability there is a law you can use to make a complaint.
This law is called the Disability Discrimination Act.
