The Youth Pathways program is funded by the Department of Education Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR). It assists young people aged 13 to 19 to remain or re-engage in the school environment. TPG delivers the Youth Pathways program in Griffith, Deniliquin, Finley, Hay, Balranald, Tooleybuc, Barham and surrounding areas.

Youth Pathways assists the most at-risk young people to make a successful transition through to completion of Year 12 (or its equivalent) and ultimately, to further education, training or employment and active participation in the community. Nationally the programme will assist over 17,000 young people aged 13 to 19 each year by providing intensive individualised assistance and support.

The priority outcomes for participants of Youth Pathways are:

Engage or re-engage participants in the school environment through to completion of Year 12 or its equivalent
Engage or re-engage participants in non school-based education, vocational learning and training
Prepare participants for effective engagement in Job Network activities

Eligible young people participating in Youth Pathways will receive services which include:

Personal one-on-one assistance to help identify strengths, goals and barriers
Individual support to achieve their goals
Individual support and guidance to help overcome barriers
Other services aimed at better equipping young people to successfully make the transition through school and from school to further education, training or employment.
